SB Home Assembly & Fittings respects your privacy. This notice explains what information we collect when you request a quote or appointment, why we use it and how to contact us about it.
Who is responsible for your information
SB Home Assembly & Fittings is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. Privacy enquiries can be sent to sbhomeassembly@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and telephone number.
- Your postcode and preferred appointment times.
- Details about the requested work.
- Photographs or screenshots you choose to attach.
- Messages and records relating to quotes, bookings, payment or completed work.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer enquiries, prepare quotes, assess whether a job is suitable, arrange appointments, complete requested work, manage payment and keep appropriate business records. We do not use booking details for unrelated marketing without separate permission.
Our basis for using it
We process information where it is necessary to respond to your request or provide an agreed service, where we have a legitimate business need to manage enquiries and appointments, and where records must be retained to meet legal obligations.
Who receives it
Booking forms are processed by FormSubmit and delivered to our Gmail inbox. Website and email providers may therefore process limited information on our behalf. We do not sell your information.
How long we keep it
Unsuccessful or inactive enquiry details and submitted photographs are normally deleted within 12 months. Records connected with completed work, payments or disputes may be retained for up to six years where needed for accounting, legal or insurance purposes. Information is removed earlier where it is no longer reasonably required.
Your choices and rights
You may ask for access to your information, correction of inaccurate details or deletion where we no longer have a reason to retain it. You may also object to or request restriction of certain uses. Contact sbhomeassembly@gmail.com to make a request.
Photographs
Photographs submitted for quoting are used to assess the requested work. Photographs of completed work will not be used publicly for marketing without separate permission.
Complaints
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern. You also have the right to raise a data-protection complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
